Help me pick books...
Ok, so I am going to try something new. And, I fear it won't work. But I'm gonna try anyway:
I am going to Europe. And in my limited traveling experience, I found that I got a lot of reading done. So, my loyal (and usually quiet and unresponsive) readers. Please, if you read this, leave a comment with a suggested book for me to take.
Leaving a comment is easy. You don't need to register. You don't even need to sign your name if that scares you (though please do if you don't mind...). There's my plea. We'll see how it goes.

dave! i loooove recommending books. right now i'm reading "reunion" by alan lightman -- he is a physics professor and poet, wrote "einstein's dreams" -- poetic meditations on the theory of relativity -- and "good benito," which is about a mathematician. you'd like any of those three, but "reunion" is a good choice for those of us reflecting fondly on the college experience... :) check it out.
"Rell is the greatest person in the world... ever" by Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini (this one is sooooo grood)
Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas -Tom Robbins (or anything by T.R. for that matter)
or maybe Naked -- David Sedaris (collection of funny short stories)
-- I might even let you borrow my copy as long as you promise to bring it back.
