My Idea Gets a Patent. Really.

Some guy sent me an email two years ago, asking for people to fill out a survey for research he was doing for a new product. Being the lover of surveys that I am (and having hours of free time in front of a computer, being paid for it), I filled it out.

I guess he found my input helpful, because he asked if he could send me more in-depth info to review. I had to fill out a confidentiality agreement, and I checked out his product, and gave him my $0.02.

His product was an alarm clock with 7 alarm settings (one for each day of the week), which was a pretty neat idea for a college student. Anyway, my input was that college students like to nap. And that would involve having to figure out what day it was, and reset that specific alarm. Our solution, the nap timer, which is now patented. Ha.

Well the product is now available online, and should be in Linens'n'Things by March.

If you are interested in buying one, I have a 15% off code he told me I could give to any of my friends.
